(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh City’s leaders burned incense to Party General Secretary Le Duan on his 110th birthday. The leaders highlighted great contributions of Le Duan, an outstanding Party leader and a leading disciple of President Ho Chi Minh.

Le Duan was born to a working-class family with a strong tradition of patriotism in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province. In nearly 60 years as a revolutionary and 26 years as the Party’s First Secretary and General Secretary, Le Duan devoted his life to Vietnam’s struggle for liberation, unification, and socialism construction.
