(VOVworld) – Kenyan police has taken control of a 4-storey Westgate shopping center in Nairobi and released almost all the hostages. However, it still unknown how many hostages are released. Two day ago, Al Shebab rebels linked to the Al Aqaeda terror network began shooting at the city’s up-market building. Kenyan officials said the number of casualties has climbed to 68 dead and 200 injured. The country’s security forces penetrated deep into the building and blockaded the gunmen’s location. An Israeli task force is helping the attempt to free the hostages. The International Criminal Police Organization offered to deploy an Incident Response Team consisting of specialized forensic officers, anti-terror experts, and analysts to resolve the incident. Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta said Kenya will promptly punish those behind the attack.
