(VOVworld) – The International Conference and Exhibition Mobile Vietnam 2012 will open in Hanoi this weekend. According to the event’s host – the Ministry of Information and Communications at Tuesday’s press briefing, 200 domestic and foreign agencies will convene in the exhibition and conference themed “Future of Vietnam mobile sector” to discuss directions for the sector’s rapid and sustainable development.

Nguyen Truong Son, Director of the Center for Press and International Communication Cooperation and Head of the organizing board said the exhibition will display products, innovating services, and advanced technology of mobile communication technology: "The International Conference and Exhibition Mobile Vietnam 2012 is an opportunity for state management agencies including Department of Telecommunications and the Authority of Radio Frequency Managementas well as enterprises operating in mobile sector to exchange experiences. Speakers will present policies and guidelines on mobile broadband, Vietnam mobile market development, ways for bridging digital gap in Vietnam, and 3G exploration. The event will include forum and job fair for students wishing to work in the sector."

On this occasion, the Information Society Magazine and the VnMedia online newspaper will launch a program for consumers to vote for their most-wanted mobile.
