Iran says it’s ready for new nuclear talks at UN
(VOVWORLD) - Iran is ready to start nuclear negotiations on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York “if other parties are willing”, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said Monday in a video published on his Telegram channel.

Araqchi said he’ll stay in New York a few days longer than the Iranian president and will meet with foreign ministers to discuss a new round of talks on the nuclear Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action signed in 2015 between Iran and the P5+1.
He said messages have been exchanged via Switzerland and a "general declaration of readiness" issued, but cautioned that the current international conditions make the resumption of talks more complicated and difficult than before.
