Khanh Hoa ready for coronavirus-free declaration
(VOVWORLD) - Khanh Hoa province, home to tourism hotspot Nha Trang, can be declared free of the new coronavirus after recording no new cases for 30 days.

One of the first localities in Vietnam affected by the deadly virus, Khanh Hoa has deployed a number of preventive measures including upgrading healthcare facilities, checking visitors’ body temperature, and giving hand sanitizer and masks to local residents and tourists. As a result, the province has remained a popular destination for European and domestic travelers.
“Currently, there are neither quarantined nor confirmed cas es in Khanh Hoa. I feel comfortable here because the province is free from any source of infection,” said Nguyen Thi Hoa, a visitor from Hanoi.
The only coronavirus patient in Khanh Hoa, a hotel receptionist, was cured and discharged from hospital on February 2, 2020.
