(VOVworld)-Public consultation on amendments to the 1992 Constitution continues in various provinces. Former President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Pham The Duyet, was speaking at a meeting on Thursday to gather opinions from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour:“The Communist Party of Vietnam recognizes its role as a pioneer force of the working class represented by the labor union. The Party could improve its strength by promoting the role played by labor union, which should be highlighted in the constitution. This will promote labor union’s supervision to ensure the Party’s strength.”
