Libya is to form a new government - ảnh 1

The Libyan National Transitional Council, NTC said a new government led by interim premier Abdel Rahim al-Kib will likely be announced on Sunday. Abdel Hafidh Ghoga, spokesman of the new authorities, told reporters that al-Kib will present the formation of the government next week for a confidence vote of the NTC.
Meanwhile, four days of fighting between militias from Libya 's coastal city of Zawiya and members of the Wershifanna tribe has ended after a truce was reached. Fighting had erupted last Thursday after a row over a military base under Muammar Gaddafi’s regime. Libyan officials and diplomats have expressed concern over local conflicts that have flared up in the absence of an army in the country. Last week, NTC Chairman Mustafa Abdul Jalil blamed "irresponsible" former rebels for violence which has fanned fears that thousands of fighters who helped topple Gaddfi may turn on each other.
