(VOVworld) - An action month for children will be launched in Thanh Hoa province next Tuesday to call for a joint effort to create a safe and healthy environment for children free of violence, abuse, and exploitation. Nguyen Hai Huu is Director of the Child Care and Protection Department at the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs ‘With this month of action, we want to raise public awareness and remind parents, children, teachers, the entire community, and especially the state agencies concerned of their responsibilities. This way, we hope we will gradually put an end to violence and abuse against children in the future’.  

Entitled ‘For a society without violence and abuse against children’, this year’s event will focus on National Targets Program on Child Protection up until 2015 to give children more protection under the law.
