Earlier, deputies discussed a draft resolution on regulations on National Assembly sessions, which is aimed at making National Assembly activities more democratic and practical. Many deputies agreed with the regulation to allow citizens to attend National Assembly public sessions. Nguyen Thanh Thuy, a deputy for Binh Dinh province, said: “The regulations should detail how many citizens and who should be allowed to attend National Assembly sessions. This will make it easier for them to oversee National Assembly activities and the deputies.”

Deputies also discussed the draft law on Information Access and the revised Press Law.
