National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has praised Laos’ precious experiences in the construction of an efficient administration. Hung made the statement at yesterday’s talk with leaders, lecturers, researchers, and trainees of the Lao National Politics and Administration Institute as part of his ongoing visit to the country. He said in the current development period, the continued strengthening of the special relationship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries is an objective requirement, aspiration of the two peoples, the responsibility of both Parties and Governments, and a factor to ensure the success of each country’s sustainable development and international integration. Here Chairman Hung shared Vietnam’s experiences in the development of a socialist law-governed nation since the country’s renewal process.

The same day, Chairman Hung visited the ancient Lao capital of Luang Prabang, and met with representatives from the Vietnamese Overseas Association and staff of the Vietnam Consul General there.  Earlier, at a working session with Luang Prabang’s authorities, Hung said bilateral ties between the two Parties, Governments, and peoples have developed steadily. Bilateral cooperation has been strengthened in all fields, especially in investment and trade, contributing to the socio-economic development of each nation.
