The draft, supplemented with a number of regulations to improve the efficiency of the bodies, clarifies that NA and People’s Council monitoring is the activity of the most powerful state management agency.
During their discussions, many deputies agreed on the need to build and promulgate a law on monitoring NA and People’s Council’s activities to institutionalize constitutional provisions and concurred on its structure.
Some suggested removing the right to refuse to answer or provide state secret information as stipulated by the law currently in force.
They added that it’s necessary to add regulations making agencies, organizations, and individuals responsible for protecting state secrets.
The same day, deputies discussed the NA’s legislative programs this year and next year and article 60 of the 2014 Law on Social Insurance.
