National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man spoke about the draft revised Law on Planning. “The revision must ensure continuity, inheritance, and hierarchy in the national planning system. It should ensure consistency between planning, strategies, and socio-economic development, between sectoral management, territorial management, national defense and security, and environmental protection, and harmonize national, local, and people’s interests, in which national interests are the ultimate.”
The draft revised Law on Public-Private Investment expands the fields eligible for public-private partnership investment and lowers the minimum scale to facilitate the private sector to participate in State investment projects.
Also on Wednesday, National Assembly deputies discussed in groups a pilot resolution on the handling of evidence and assets during investigation, prosecution, and trial of criminal cases.
