(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang has asked the Vietnam National Defense Academy to closely monitor the situation and improve its forecast capability to fulfill its task of defending national independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.

Attending the Academy’s 40^th anniversary, President Quang urged the Institute to make far-sighted forecasts and advise the Party and State on thwarting schemes to overthrow the administration and promote “self-transformation”, “self-evolution”, “non-politicization” of the armed forces, and political pluralism. President Tran Dai Quang awarded the Academy the Independence Order, 1^st Class.
