(VOVworld)- Senior lieutenant General Do Ba Ty, Chief of Vietnam People's Army on Monday received General Eiji Kimizuka, Chief of Staff of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force who is paying a visit to Vietnam. General Ty welcomed General Eiji Kimizuka and representatives visiting Vietnam and said during the recent years, cooperation in the field of national defense has been deployed effectively in many fields. Previously, lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of Vietnam People's Army led Vietnamese representatives in a meeting with Japanese representatives led by General Kimizuka. At the meeting, the two sides exchanged ideas and measures to boost relation between the two countries’ armed forces in the future.
