Party chief urges political apparatus reorganization
(VOVWORLD) -Party leader To Lam underscored the need to reorganize the political system in a streamlined, strong, effective manner, calling it an urgent requirement of the current situation.

At a meeting in Hanoi on Tuesday to review implementation of the Party Central Committee’s resolution on continued reorganization of the political system, Mr Lam said reorganization is a particularly important task and is receiving a lot of public attention.
The Politburo has reached a strong consensus on reviewing Resolution 18 implementation as a basis for drastic decisions to make the political apparatus lean and mean to meet Vietnam’s development requirements in the new period.
Party leader To Lam said, “The Steering Committee held its first meeting on absorbing Resolution 18 to create a roadmap for implementing the set goals. We must be determined to democratically consider all opinions at the meeting.”
