(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh visited the Government Portal and the Great Unity newspaper on Tuesday to mark Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day on June 21.

Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission Pham Minh Chinh congratulated the Voice of Vietnam’s leaders and staff during a visit the same day.

He said he hopes VOV will continue contributing to building up the Party and political system and steering the public. He said: “Communications plays an important role in nation building and defense. I hope that VOV will continue to promote role models and good deeds and prevent political, ideological, and moral degradation as well as self-transformation and self-evolution.”

A commemorative meeting was also held in Ho Chi Minh city by the municipal Journalists’ Association.
