(VOVworld)- The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a ceremony to present the titles “People’s Artist”, and “Emeritus Artist” and other honorable distinctions in Hanoi on Sunday.

In his address, President Truong Tan Sang praised the artists’ contributions to national construction and defense. President Sang said: “The Vietnamese Party, State and people hope and believe that Vietnamese artists will further improve their professionalism, talents, and morality and continue the glorious tradition of Vietnam arts, literature and culture. Through their works, Vietnamese artists contributed to promoting Vietnamese cultural values to the world”.
