(VOVWORLD) - 130 photos of islanders and soldiers defending Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty, and youth sea and island activities are on display at an exhibition in Son La province.

Dinh Van Thanh, a Youth Union member of the Son La’s provincial Police, said: "The photos teach me about the national maritime sovereignty, comradeship, and the bond between soldiers and islanders which I feel very proud of. I’ll do my best to fulfill all my assigned tasks and contribute to safeguarding Vietnam’s sovereignty."
