The Prime Minister welcomed the Korea’s new Southern Policy for peaceful cooperation. He said that Vietnam always wants to promote trusted comprehensive cooperation with the Korea and its links between the Korea and the ASEAN. President Moon informed the Prime Minister of  recently signed cooperative agreements in industrial manufacturing and energy to expand cooperation with Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Japanese Cabinet Advisor Isao Iijima who is on a working visit to Vietnam and to attend the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival in Vietnam. The Prime Minister praised the festival as both countries are celebrating their 45 years of diplomatic ties and expected cultural exchanges to boost bilateral relations.

 Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Omani Minister of Commerce  Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy on Friday. He welcomed the visit by the Minister to co-chair the 3rd Joint Committee Meeting on bilateral economic and technological cooperation. The Omani Minister is in Vietnam with a business delegation to explore cooperative opportunities in logistics and transport.
