The business leaders included Chairman of the Prime Group Tamer Wagih Salem, Managing Director and Group CEO of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, NMDC Energy CEO Niels De Bruijn, and CEO of the Emirates Driving Company Khaled Al Shemeili.

PM Chinh said Vietnam, which has a 3,000-kilometer coastline, intends to create a coordinated, modern seaport system that supports socio-economic development. He urged the Abu Dhabi Ports Group and NDMC, with their experience in port management, to support the Vietnamese government and enterprises in achieving this goal.

Mr. Chinh welcomed these groups’ cooperation plans with Vingroup, calling it ‘a smart choice and a strategic vision’. He also urged Vinfast and Emirates Driving to boost their collaboration in advancing green growth and sustainable development in Vietnam, to fulfill Vietnam’s net-zero emissions commitment. The PM asked Prime Group to leverage its extensive network of partners to bring reputable and capable investors to Vietnam to explore investment opportunities.

The heads of the UAE corporations said Vietnam has a great potential and they hope the Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for UAE firms to invest in Vietnam.

The same day, PM Chinh received Yusuff Ali Musaliam Veettil Abdul Kader, Chairman and Managing Director of LuLu Group International. The group operates its LuLu Hypermarket chain in 23 countries, earning annual revenues of over 8 billion USD. Noting that Vietnam is developing a Halal industry, the Prime Minister said Lulu should collaborate with Vietnam in advancing this sector. Mr. Kader said his company will expand its trade with Vietnam.
