Polish Prime Minister resigns

(VOVWORLD) - Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło has submitted her resignation to the Law and Justice party (PiS) leadership, Party spokesperson Beata Mazurek told reporters on Thursday in Warsaw. 

PiS named Finance Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to replace Szydlo. The move came after the Polish Parliament conducted a no-confidence vote against the PM.
