(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang begins a state visit to Germany from November 24-26, at the invitation of German President Joachim Gauck, in order to boost the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The visit, the first ever made by a Vietnamese President to Germany since the country’s unification, is concurrent with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries. The visit aims to deepen the Vietnam-Germany Strategic Partnership to meet the interests of their people.
