President's State visit to Japan is a success
(VOVWORLD) -President Tran Dai Quang and his wife on Saturday left Tokyo, concluding their State visit to Japan from May 29th to June 2nd.

Before their departure, they met the Vietnamese Embassy staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Japan. President Quang said the visit is a success and that Vietnam unswervingly pursues a policy of developing the extensive strategy partnership with Japan. During the visit, the President met with the Emperor and held talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Both leaders released a joint statement and witnessed the signing of many documents between the two countries’ ministries and sectors. He delivered a speech at an investment promotion meeting of 600 businesses and attended a ceremony to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties. President Quang said the visit helps consolidate trust between the two countries and open a new period of bilateral relations in security, defense, economics, trade, investment, and labor.
