(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung calls for all-out effort to ensure health insurance for all its citizens as one of the government’s annual socio-economic targets.

Dung was speaking at a meeting held today/ on Friday in Ha Noi to mark Viet Nam's Health Insurance Day on July 1. He said that Health insurance needs to be continuously reviewed and fine tuned in terms of policy to encourage more people, especially those in poverty, to take part in the service: "It is necessary to lay out the plan to implement health insurance at grass roots-level. There’s also need to raise standards in Health centers and  services, promote administrative reforms and improve the professional ethics of medical staff and their attitude to holders of insurance cards".
