Prime Minister receives OFID Director General
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) to continue providing technical support for Vietnam through non-refundable aid and help Vietnam access OFID capital with more preferential interest rates.

At a meeting with OFID’s Director General Suleiman J. Al-Herbish in Hanoi on Tuesday, the Prime Minister asked OFID to prioritize projects and localities that can re-finance its funding. Phuc said Vietnam will work closely with OFID to develop programs appropriate to the organization’s priorities and Vietnam’s socio-economic development. He called on OFID to support the private sector to access the organization’s resources and support. Mr. Al-Herbish said OFID will promote cooperation with Vietnam in support for the private sector.
