(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) and the Vietnamese Association in the UK held a requiem in London on Sunday for fallen Vietnamese soldiers.
Participants paid homage to soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty, including Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos.
The ceremony was chaired by Venerable Thich Buu Chanh, head of the Phuoc Son-Dong Nai Monastery and Venerable Thich Le Nguyen, Chairman of the VBS in the UK.
