(VNA) - Naval ship Wang Goen of the Republic of Korea with more than 300 personnel on board has arrived in Ho Chi Minh City to begin a four-day friendship visit. During their stay, the crew will lay a wreath at the Statue of President Ho Chi Minh and pay courtesy visits to leaders of the municipal People's Committee and the High Command of Military Zone 7. They will take part in sports events with students of the Naval Technical School. The visit is one of several activities celebrating the 20th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties. It will help strengthen friendship, co-operation, mutual understanding, and trust between the two countries and their armed forces.
