(VNA) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s official visit to Vietnam on Wednesday, will underline the determination of the countries’ leaders to strengthen their traditional friendship and strategic partnership. The visit, on the 95^th anniversary of Russia’s October Revolution, represents an important opportunity for the two countries to enhance their cooperation in trade and investment and speed up joint projects.

Medvedev holds talks with PM Nguyen Tan Dung, meets with Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, President Truong Tan Sang, and NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung. He will also visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Heroic Martyr Monument.
