(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang visited Bac Kan province on Tuesday as part of his tour of northern mountain provinces.

During talks with provincial leaders, President Sang asked the province to seek investors to aid its economic restructuring with a focus on mining. He also asked the province to overcome its present shortcomings in order to achieve the set targets for building new rural areas. Earlier, President Sang presented gifts to a number of local social beneficiaries.
