The World Bank will keep focus on ending poverty, the President of Word Bank Jim Yong Kim said on a press conference after the group's Development Committee meeting on Saturday.

Jim Yong Kim said "Ending Poverty is boosting shared prosperity so that families or young people can have hope for a brighter future that includes a good job, access to health care, and good education. The meeting also issued a joint communique to conclude the work of the Development Committee. The Development Committee reiterated its commitment in the communique, to take decisive actions to promote growth and development, to continued support for an open global economy and to meeting its pledges of development assistance.
