(VOVworld)-President Truong Tan Sang joined a meeting in Hanoi on Friday to mark the 50th anniversary of the People's Police Force.

The State leader said during the past 50 years, in war time and peace, the People's Police Force has always remained absolutely loyal to the Party, State and people and has worked closely with relevant ministries and sectors to successfully complete all assigned tasks. At present, the regional and global situations remain complicated as hostile forces aim to stir up political instability and sabotage the Party leadership and socialism in Vietnam. The President urged the People’s Police Force to uphold the national glorious tradition by studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example and teachings to build an untarnished, powerful, and modern force:“The police force should uphold its political stanchness and stay at the vanguard with the people in the fight against crimes, protect national security and social order.”
