US State Department Special Representative for Global Partnerships Andrew O'Brien said the project is a public-private alliance to strengthen start-up and innovation in targeted Mekong economies by supporting young innovators and entrepreneurs in the technology sector. The meeting allowed government officials from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam to assess their country’s entrepreneurial environment and allow private companies to share development insights.
