(VOVworld) - The third dialogue between the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) and the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) continued on Saturday in Hanoi, focusing on contents of the mutual concern. The two sides discussed social welfare and social insurance toward sustainable development in both countries.  On top of the agenda was the maintaining the living standard of retired people and preventing the elderly from falling in poverty. Anton Schaaf, a member of the German Parliament and Committee on Labour and Social Affairs said that the retirement issues of the Germany and Vietnam has similarities, adding that the goal of both countries is to ensure pension for the retired people.
