Tribute paid to President Ho Chi Minh during Lunar New Year festival

(VOVworld) – 39,000 Vietnamese and foreigners paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum during this year’s Tet festival and the 84th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On Thursday, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan offered incense to late President Ho Chi Minh at House No. 67 in the Presidential Palace complex in Ha Noi. The house, named after the year 1967 when it was inaugurated, was the place where President Ho Chi Minh worked and passed away.

Nhan extended his new-year greetings to those working at the complex and urged them to preserve Uncle Ho’s priceless souvenirs so that Ho Chi Minh’s devotion to Vietnam is never forgotten.
