The document says the US lifting of its embargo on Vietnam opened a new chapter in Vietnam-US relations paving the way for the full normalization of diplomatic ties on July, 1995. It says that the Vietnam-US relations have developed comprehensively thanks to efforts made by both governments and peoples.
