US Navy ships dock Tien Sa Port, Da Nang city

The USS Blue Ridge, the USS Chafee, and the USNS Safeguard docked at Tien Sa Port in Da Nang yesterday, beginning a five-day friendship visit to Vietnam. A US naval delegation consisting of nearly 2,000 officers and crew members will share their experience in diving, ocean salvage, and rescue work with their Vietnamese counterparts. They will also pay courtesy visits to Danang’s leaders and take part in friendly sporting events with local students and sailors.
