(VOVworld) - President Barack Obama will deliver his State of the Union Speech from the Hall of the House of Representatives in the US Capitol on January 20^th, said the White House on Saturday. The speech will be televised across the US. Administration officials won't reveal what specific executive actions or legislative proposals the president will recommend, but on Saturday the White House announced presidential visits to Detroit, Phoenix and Tennessee ahead of the State of the Union. Mr. Obama will use these visits to promote items on his agenda like manufacturing and the auto industry, affordable housing and education. During the visit, the president "will highlight the progress we have made in the economy and he will announce policies that he will highlight in the State of the Union address to push us forward," said White House spokesman Eric Schultz.
