(VOVworld) – US State Secretary John Kerry reviewed the US’s diplomatic accomplishments in a year-end article on the Boston Globe on December 29.

Sealing a global agreement on climate change, reaching a nuclear deal with Iran, normalizing diplomatic relations with Cuba, conducting negotiation on the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, preventing an Ebola epidemic, promoting democracy and fighting terrorism are the US’s major accomplishments in 2015.
Kerry said the US’s most outstanding achievement is accelerating dialogue to minimize differences between developed and developing countries to reach a global agreement on climate change.
The US and China agreed on developing clean energy which created momentum for the 21^st UN Conference on Climate Change in Paris.
