Turkey and the US are considering establishing a safety zone on the Turkey-Syria border. News daily “Milliyet” has reported that a no-fly zone could be established between the provinces of Kilis in Turkey and Aleppo in Syria. The no-fly zone would be under the control of three air-defense systems located on the Turkey border. Turkey and the NATO alliance have discussed the deployment of Patriot missiles on the Turkey-Syria border to secure this area from Syrian attacks.
