US Undersecretary of State to visit Vietnam
(VOVworld) - Rose Gottemoeller, US Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, will travel to Vietnam as part of a visit to four Asian-Pacific countries from February 27-March 9.

The four countries are the Philippines, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand, according to the US Department of State.
In Vietnam, Gottemoeller will travel to Quang Tri province on March 1 and 2 to observe US-funded efforts to survey and clear unexploded ordnance from the war. She will also meet with provincial authorities and non-governmental organizations.
She will come to Hanoi on March 3 to discuss with Vietnamese officials the US-Vietnam relationship during the 20th anniversary of normalized relations, as well as regional security, security cooperation, maritime security, and the upcoming Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty Review Conference (NPT RevCon).
