(VOVworld) - President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Nguyen Thien Nhan received a delegation from the Singaporean People’s Association led by its chief executive director Ang Hak Seng in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Nhan, who is also Deputy Prime Minister, said the friendship between the two countries has served as a strong foundation for cooperation in many areas, including between their mass organizations and trade unions. Mr. Nhan expressed his belief that the visit will boost ties between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Singaporean People’s Association. Earlier, a delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee led by its Vice President Vu Trong Kim met with the Singaporean delegation.
