Vietnam announces 16 more COVID-19 patients recover
(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Health has announced a further 16 COVID-19 patients, including 12 Vietnamese and four foreigners, have recovered and have been discharged from treatment facilities across the country on Friday, raising the country’s total recoveries to 144.

All 16 people will continue to be isolated and monitored for the next 14 days.
Doctor Pham Ngoc Ham, head of the Tropical Medicine of Da Nang University, said: “We have been working with a spirit of readiness and responsibility together with timely encouragement from the leaders of the hospital and the health department and municipal authorities. We haven’t returned home for more than a month but we keep staying in the hospital to work. We hope to defeat the disease soon so that peace will return in the city and the country.”
