Regarding the recent transfer of T-6C trainer aircraft from the United States to Vietnam, Hang said: "Based on the defense cooperation agreements between Vietnam and the US including the 2011 Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening defense cooperation and the 2024 Joint Vision Statement on Defense Cooperation, on November 20, Vietnam received five new generation T-6C trainer aircraft made by the US.
