Vietnam, Australia’s Northern Territory enhance cooperation

Mr. Minh said that the Northern Territory has great potential for transport and tourism cooperation with Vietnam’s southern localities. He informed his guest that Vietnam has demand for high-tech agriculture, human resource training, and advanced technology.

He expressed the wish that the authorities of the Northern Territory will provide more scholarships for Vietnamese students through the StudyNT program and support the Vietnamese people living there.

Mr. Gunner said the Northern Territory wants to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, and education with Vietnam. It will facilitate Vietjet Air to operate flights to Darwin in 2019 and encourage Vietnamese businesses to invest in the Northern Territory. The two leaders witnessed the signing of a MoU on cooperation between the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Northern Territory Chamber of Commerce.
