Vietnam concerned about settling complaints and denunciations and anti-corruption

(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy head of the National Steering Committee for Corruption Prevention Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Wong Hong Kuan, Director of Singapore’s Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Mr. Phuc said that Vietnam considers settling complaints and denunciations and prevention corruption to be an important task and a priority in building a modern, professional, effective, and transparent public administrative system.  He said that Vietnam’s government encourages and creates favorable conditions for both countries’ investigative agencies to increase cooperation in anti-corruption and promotes friendship between the two nations.

Mr. Wong praised Vietnam’s anti-corruption initiatives in recent years and said he hoped both countries’ investigative agencies will continue to share experiences to strengthen their anti-corruption institutions.
