(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Foreign Ministry's Deputy Spokesman Le Hai Binh has answered reporters’ question regarding a historical nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries:“Vietnam welcomed the agreement made on November 24 between Iran and P5+1 as an important leap forward to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue through dialogue and negotiation. Chairing the Board of Governors for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from 2013 to 2014, Vietnam commits to a comprehensive implementation of the agreement with the international community.”

Commenting on China’s decision to establish an air identification zone on the East China Sea, Binh said Vietnam is watchful and deeply concerned about recent developments in the East China Sea. Vietnam wished that related parties will resolve differences based on international law and peaceful means to ensure security and safety for international flights crossing the region. The spokesman commented on China’s possible application of a similar air identification zone in the East Sea: “All activities by parties in the East Sea shall respect related countries’ national sovereignty and sovereign rights, international law and the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea (DOC) for peace, stability in the region while not prompting tension and making the situation more complicated.”
