Vietnam fishermen save drowning Chinese

(VOV) – Two Chinese citizens have been rescued by Vietnamese fishermen after their vessel Cui Fong 21558 broke down. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release on Monday that the vessel was brought ashore for repairs at Ha Long City in the northeastern coastal province of Quang Ninh. The Chinese Embassy in Hanoi was informed of the situation last Friday and the two Chinese citizens returned to China on Monday. China expressed appreciation for the efforts of Vietnam’s Foreign Affairs Ministry and relevant agencies in rescuing the fishermen and their boat and arranging for them to return home.
