Vietnam, Japan enhance defence ties
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Defence Ministry is always ready to offer all possible support to air forces of Vietnam and Japan to fully and effectively realise signed agreements, said Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Defence Minister Sen. Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang at a reception for Chief of the Staff of the Japan Air Self-Defence Force General Yoshinari Marumo in Hanoi on Monday.

Mr. Giang said the Vietnamese Defence Ministry greatly appreciates the Japanese Defence Ministry’s capacity improvement program for the Vietnamese air force.
Mr. Marumo said he believes his visit will open up new cooperation opportunities for the two air forces.
