(VOVworld)- Vietnam and Laos have pledged to strengthen cooperation in implementing policies on employment, vocational training, unemployment insurance and foreign labor management. At a conference of Ministers of Labor and Social Welfare in Hanoi, delegates discussed the two countries’ laws and policies concerning social welfare and measures to expand cooperation in social welfare. The Vietnamese Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Lao Minister of Labor and Social Welfare signed the minutes of the 3rd Labor and Social Welfare Ministerial Conference in which the two sides agreed to organize their 4th conference in Laos in 2015. Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, a member of Vietnam’s Party Central Committee and is Vietnam’s Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, says: “The two sides agreed to work closely with relevant ministries to implement the cooperative agreement. We will also cooperate with the Ministries of Defense to search for and collect the remains of martyrs. We agreed to share legislative experience and experience in developing employment and salary policy”.
