(VOVworld) – The Ha Long Shipbuilding Company launched the most modern platform supply vessel PSV 3300 in Quang Ninh on Tuesday.

The ship is specially designed to supply offshore oil and gas platforms. It has a 1,500 ton deadweight and an average speed of 13.5 knots. Under normal conditions, the ship can operate at sea for 28 consecutive days. The ship was designed and built by the Dutch Damen group. After a trial run, it will be handed over to the client in September. The successful launch of the PSV3300 boosts Vietnam’s international shipbuilding prestige.
